When we finally launched this ministry at G-d's prodding 17 years ago, we had no idea where G-d would take us. The paths G-d has led us on and the places his work through us (and you) reaches continue to surprise us.

At this very moment two of our most used materials - "L'chaim" and the SIDDUR FOR MESSIANIC JEWS - are being reprinted. "L'chaim" is our booklet that uses a Jewish translation of the Older Testament to summarize G-d's plan of atonement through Yeshua. Over one million copies have already been printed and distributed in several languages including Russian and Portuguese! The SIDDUR (a Messianic guide to Jewish worship) is in its tenth printing. It has already been translated into Russian and there is interest in translating it into Spanish. Some of our other literature has even been translated into Telugo, a major language in India.

Tapes of our weekly sermons go out monthly - at no cost to the recipients - to 16 states and a dozen countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Some of these go to individuals, and a number go to Messianic fellowships and groups around the world. Our tapes and literature are assisting such groups in India, Pakistan, Hungary, Ukraine, the former Soviet Union, and a couple of countries in Africa.

As much as this international scope of ministry has surprised us, something else is even more surprising. Total unexpected to us, and completely apart from any initiatives on our part, a "prison ministry" of sorts has bloomed under our noses. As a result of *their* initiative we are now assisting a dozen or so inmates in their walk with G-d and in understanding the Jewish roots and background of their faith. A number of these inmates are part of or leading Messianic fellowships that appear to be springing up in various prisons around the country. They have searched out and requested our assistance. As a result, we are supplying Messianic tapes and literature at no cost to several groups to enable them to grow and worship.

All of this reminds us that the liberation and redemption which comes from G-d knows no boundries or borders; it reaches all people everywhere and at all levels of society! And that very message is an important theme that runs throughout our spring Jewish holidays from Purim to Passover, and beyond.

* When Haman conspired to annihilate the Jewish people throughout the Persian empire, G-d used Esther and Mordecai to rescue his people. As a result we celebrate Purim.

* When Pharoah decided to liquidate the Jewish people in Egypt, G-d used miracles and Moses to liberate his people. As a result we celebrate Passover.

* When Hitler attempted to exterminate the Jewish people from all of Europe, G-d prevented him and preserved his people. We reflect on this at Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day.)

* When most of the world continued to be indifferent to the Jewish people and even to the homeless refugees and the helpless survivors of the Holocaust, G-d used people like Weitzmann and Truman to recreate the nation of Israel, exactly as he promised. As a result we celebrate Yom HaAtzmaut (Israeli Independence Day).

* When Satan thought he thwarted G-d's plan and ended the Messiah's life, God raised Yeshua from the dead to demonstrate to all concerned that he had conquered death and defeated Satan and all his forces, once and for all. At that same time he proved that Yeshua was the Messiah of Israel and the Lord of the Universe (Acts 2:36). As a result we celebrate Khag Hat'khiyah (the Festival of Yeshua's Resurrection)!

Do join us as we celebrate these astounding events! And, do thank God for how he has acted in our history and continues to work through this humble ministry in ways that continue to surprise. Also, please join us in prayer for these various groups and people that you help us touch by your praying and giving.

And, please add another request to your prayers. As we said earlier, we provide Messianic tapes and literature to those groups and people at no cost. In addition, we try to keep the cost as low as possible to the other groups and individuals who purchase our Messianic materials. As a result, we now face over $7,000.00 in expense in order to re-print "L'chaim" and the SIDDUR FOR MESSIANIC JEWS. So please prayerfully consider how G-d may lead you to help us shoulder the cost of making Messianic materials more readily available to those who need it.
